Stine Baekgaard, a 23-year-old triathlete from Østerbro, Copenhagen.

She did it again – This weekend, she was number one when she conducted Deloitte Bellevue Triathlon. We are extremely proud that she is our ambassador.
Huge congratulations Triatlet – Stine Bækgaard – we cheering you all the way!
See Stine’s impressive time right here:
I started running and competing as a triathlete in 2013 and quickly began challenging myself at different distances. In 2014, I completed my first half Ironman and my first half marathon simultaneously and with respect to the half Ironman, I came second in my age group and later in the same year, I completed yet another half Ironman. In 2015, I decided to try to complete a full distance Ironman and entered Ironman Copenhagen just as I completed yet another half Ironman improving my time by 12 minutes. Participating in Ironman Copenhagen was a huge success for me as I won my age group in 10.42 hours thereby qualifying for the Ironman World Championships 2015 in Hawaii.
I did not participate in the World Championships in 2015 but my major goal for 2016 was to qualify for Hawaii 2016 by competing in the Ironman France in Nice. Once again, I exceeded my own expectations coming second in my age group in 10.34 hours thus qualifying for Hawaii 2016. I completed my marathon in 3.30.39 hours, which is a 28-minute improvement on my 2015 time of 3.58 hours.
In October 2016, I will travel to Hawaii to demonstrate my abilities as a triathlete and challenge myself yet again. I addition to competing as a triathlete, I have also participated in trail racing and two ultramarathons of 50K and 53K respectively.
